Tonight is the Harvest Moon (also known as Wine Moon or Singing Moon) it is the full moon neareast the Autumn Equinox.

Celebrate the every changing nature of life, dreams and goals as you toast the sacred ingredients - friends, family, and familiars - the loving relationships that mellow and ferment you.

Invoke the balance of the light and dark, and evaluate the balance within your life.  As you prepare for the growing darkness, readying yourself to move within, clean and declutter yourself physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.  Balance will bring you steady footing throughout the challenging journey ahead.

Wine Moon, Singing Moon, Sturgeon Moon glow,
the sacred balance of light and dark show,
Nephthys, Freyja, Ceres, Isis,
balance the diversity that my life is.

This past weekend, even though it was cold in the city, I got out and did some running around.  Went and saw "Outrage" in Chelsea.  It is a good documentary that everyone should see.  Michael Rogers is a man of distinguished courage, and noble qualities. He is one of my Heroes.

I also went to a writers seminar in which I got some good information.  Boy do I have work to do to get my book published.  Did some exploring of one of my past lives and discovered the new Pet Shop Boys album "Yes".
Went and checked out the Alex Grey Gallery @ 14th and 5th.  It was Awesome and a must see!

Below I am in Grand Central Station, NYC, which is a cool place, but I think I like DC Union Station better which I will be going through next week.

The latest photos of Miss California.  The bar has been lowered.  Trump, just opened a pandora's box.  No longer can a beauty queen not have to worry about lieing about posing for porn or breaking contracts.  Here we have the new face of young Christian Women.

Bottom Line:

If Miss California had said she didn't agree with interracial marriage (which by the way was illegal not too long ago, and the bible was used to justify it, by Christians) she would have been branded racist and lost her crown and no one would be complaining she had a right to her racist opinion.

But she gave a bigoted opinion against gay marriage and kept her crown. I would say this is a double standard and one that needs to be repeated everytime this issue is brought up.  Homophobia / bigotry is equal to racism.  Americans need to be educated on this point.

She has a right to her opinion but she is still a bigot. And I find it interesting how she is bringing in the President's opinion into all of this as to justify the bigots opinion. No matter, whoever holds her views (our President included) is a bigot just like they would be racist if they were against interracial marriage.

History will not be nice to her.

Took a good survey online today and I would say it VERY acurately captured where I am at in my Spiritual beliefs at this point in my life:

1. Jainism (100%)
2. Neo-Pagan (97%)
3. Hinduism (93%)
4. Mahayana Buddhism (93%)

Here is the link to the Survey:

Even if YOU don't know what faith you are, Belief-O-MaticTM knows. Answer 20 questions about your concept of God, the afterlife, human nature, and more, and Belief-O-Matic™ will tell you what religion (if any) you practice...or ought to consider practicing.
